We often tend to lose sight of what we want. Be it career-wise or what we want from life – more than frequent it’s to do with what career we must pursue. We’ve come a long way from having to choose from 2 or 3 professions, but these days what matters is being able to do something you’re truly passionate about.
Most of the times this is what happens, we fail to seek the right place to be. We don’t find the right institutions to learn the skills we require – especially the ones most relevant to the job we want to do.

Once you’ve decided the course, you won’t have much to worry about. There are so many amenities and facilities on campus you’ll probably forget you’re studying. It’s important to keep the mind fresh and always give it some breathing space for inspiration. This is why we have a football field, cricket ground, swimming pool, volleyball court, badminton court, a fully equipped gym and a recreational centre – what else does one need, right?
It’s always fun to study in an environment that enables us to be calm and happy. What better way to make one happy than food? The campus has its own dining hall which serves healthy and tasty food. It also has a Tea Junction for those morning-time munchies or evening hunger most of us have.
Just like food, sleep is important too. The campus consists of 5 hostel blocks separate for boys and girls each with their own dining halls, common rooms and housing services like laundry – we know how boring that can be! The common rooms have a variety of games you can play with your friends and classmates like carom or you can head out to one of the courts and win however many matches you’d like.
One of the most fascinating things on campus is the ship – yes, you read that right. For those pursuing Maritime Studies, there is an in-house, high-tech Ship-in-Campus with advanced bridge simulation facility. The ship is built keeping in mind international standards and consists of original ship equipment in order to give budding Marine Engineers and Captains a hands-on experience of what a naval career entails.
All laboratories are equipped with the latest instruments, technology and equipments. The labs provide controlled conditions in which scientific or technological research, experiments, and measurement can be performed – because as much fun as it would be to look like a crazy scientist, the safety of the student is valued and taken care of at TNU.
After having your day of fun at the campus, you don’t even have to worry about heading home (if you live off campus, of course) just board one of the AC busses provided and you’ll be on your way home, comfortably!
